  • Hewlett Packard Printer

Bought a HP printer(Officejet 4500) about eight months ago. From the first day this machine has had glitches that are irritating to say the least. It constantly says that there's a paper jam, that the ink cartridges are out of ink when there not. It won't fax without jamming the paper. You can fax one paper at a time from the glass. Besides all the error messages that keep popping up on the computer screen, It has used up reams of paper sending error messages. I own a small business and I expect things like computers and printers to work reasonably well. I do not want... More...

  • My Paid Service?

Short version. I purchased a HP dv7 Notebook with vista home premium OS. From day one I have had nothing but problems with it, and it has now been sent in five times. I purchase extended warrenties, and tech support, and have around three novels of paperworks documenting each problem, and how I was treated. If I had the knowledge I have now I would have never purchased that particular model of OS system. The first time it went in for service, I had a case manager that went out of their way to please me, and I even told them they did not have to do anything for me. They gave me... More...

This copy machine is the very worst I've ever used. We bought for our very small office and it's limited copying needs. Even so, it has been terrible choice. It is extremely slow. And, after putting in a new ink cartridge, we often can't get the copier to reset. So over and over, we have to do a complicated process of align, cancel, etc. to finally, hopefully, get it to copy. Really, just a piece or junk. More...

  • Pathetic Customer Support

Usually I have the words to articulate an experience, but my experience with HP has been so horrendous it defies words. I have no less than 5 HP products, printers and cameras, and simply called to install online a printer that had been purchased in 2003 (5510 ALL IN ONE. Yep, I understand products go out of warranty, yep, I get it may not be particularly profitable to continue to support printers with tech issues that are older models. But this printer has no tech issues. I just called because I have a new CPU I am using without a drive to read the install disc for this printer. I... More...

I've had HP laptops and printers for many years and have always recommended them...not anymore- I've just bought my last HP product ever. I purchased a laptop for my daughter to take to college so I got the 4 year Accidental Protection plan thinking it would at least get her all the way through school. After 2 years, she had an accident that broke the DVD optical drive. Long story short it has been 6 weeks of talking to MANY agents at a call center in India; shipping the computer in twice; and two additional shipments made to our old address after changing the address with the... • Bad Product and Poor Service

HP Pavilion DV6000 had issues ever since I bought it for my daughter. It is a lemon. She is in college, lost all her work. I will never buy HP again.I have been trying to work with HP and it has been a roller coaster ride. The Case manager named Lenor couldnt resolve the issue and everytime I called and left a message she will not return the call and then later others started giving excuse like she is on a break, lunch, gone home for the day... finally i got hold of the executive customer relations for someone to talk to me. The problem is still not resolved More...

You have not lived until you have tried to make a service call to HP. This started when I received the incorrect warranty replacement part. I spent 5 hours over 2 nights talking to their "world class" support personnel in India and the Philippines. If I hear "hold for just 2 minutes" again I think I'll find something to kill. Divide 5 hours by "just hold on for 2 minutes" and you can get an idea of my frustration. I finally got a case number assigned by real support agent in the U.S. Guess what, the part was out of stock! So I waited the 2 weeks given... More...

Called the technical number, someone in India answered. It was very difficult to understand them. They told me that my warranty on my printer had expired on June 19th and I was calling July 2nd. I told them that my printer was not a year old since we did not have a computer in June. We purchased our desk top on Aug 31st and the printer and computer were installed at the same time. I got frustrated then the technician got frustrated and transferred me while I was still speaking. The 2nd technician just repeated the same thing not listening to what I was saying, then when I ask to speak... More...

  • laptop dv9000us

I purchased an HP laptop dv9000us model a little over two years ago. Recently my screen went black. In looking for a solution I was directed to an HP bulletin that recognized the problem and offered an extension on the original warranty of a year. My warranty expired 2 months before the cutoff. What I find appalling is that HP recognized there this was a problem with its model and indicates on the bulletin that if your model does not have a problem, then don't do anything. Basically, if you unit is still working, there is no coverage. Wait till it surfaces and then see if it is... More...

  • Laptop dv9000us

I purchased an HP dv9000us laptop a little over 2 years ago. I have had nothing but trouble. A couple of times I called in but always some impediment. Recently my screen went out. My warranty ran out but what is funny is that HP knew of these problems, posted a bulletin and indicated that if you are not having a problem you could not get it repaired. If you did, it was within a year, they would pay for the repair. Well I am pissed off. My unit goes out a little over a month after the coverage but they will not repair. They knew of the need for the repair, they should have recalled... More...
